Since biodiversity is the keystone of sustainable and productive agriculture, we grow close to 50 different crops in a given year-vegetables, herbs, and blueberries. This includes the crops we grow for sale, personal use, cover crops, and experimental varieties. Availability of specific items changes with the season, which means that there is always something to look forward to. In the past year we have constructed two high tunnels. They are plastic covered temporary greenhouses which protect plants from cold weather. They will allow us to extend our growing season earlier into the spring, and later into the fall.
Right now, we are putting the finishing touches on our plans for what we are planting in 2012.
